Haverford Green is a volunteer group of neighbors working to beautify Haverford Township through public gardens.  A member organization of the Haverford Township Civic Council, Haverford Green has developed and maintained gardens along Darby Road in Havertown for more than two decades.

We now focus on The Triangle Garden (at the split in Darby Road near the Township Building) and the planters along Eagle Road in the Oakmont business district. Haverford Green is supported in part by the Township of Haverford, and is delighted to have annual spring planting help from the Haverford Middle School Student Council.

In 2013, The Triangle Garden was a recipient of the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society’s Community Greening Award. In addition, the garden was awarded second place in the Delaware County Master Gardener Garden Contest, Community Garden Category.
